vonage or cell phone

Which is a better deal vonage or the cell phone deal that Sebastien mentioned in his post? I've heard there is sometimes a delay in the service with vonage, is this true? I'm trying to decide which one to go with because obviously I have to bring the vonage equipment with me.

two different things:
- vonage: to make calla to the U.S/europe/world
- Local cell phone: to receive phone calls and place local calls.

There are some, but the government has a plane that sprays the island once a week.
