I don't mind being a cheerleader!!!! Hopefully we can get some attractive ladies to join our team. Guess I'll have to leave the football team though so I can hit the sidelines.

I agree! "if you are not happy, then transfer" doesn't solve everything... thanks.

I'm up for a little optimism because we hear a lot of negative things in Cayman. I think that's normal for a small school with everyone living in such proximity to eachother. I definitely think our school has issues, but I think a lot of them are related to growing pains. The one thing that I can honestly say is that the administration, from what I've seen in meetings, is attempting to get things on the right track. They know about the faculty turnover. They also understand that we're outgrowing the facilities. They understand all of the concerns, and from what I've seen are doing their best to make things better. There are bad things, but I think the good definitely outweighs the bad here. I disagree that 1st semesters don't know as much as upper classmen. Those in student government meet with the administrators once a week, and hear what's REALLY going on. That's also the time when we ask them to dispel rumors. I think everyone, for the most part, means well on this forum. Keep posting...

Just an idea... Your thoughts?
Doesn't your public profile list your profession? As a courtesy to all, maybe we all can list our current status (semester 1, clinical, residency, etc). I listed that I'm a 5th semester, maybe others can list their level in medical school (plus list which school they attend).

Check the context of the writing... I definitely think there is a lot to be learned about being in medical school, and there is no way that I or any other first semester would know all the ins and outs that a 5th semester would know. I know some that could go toe to toe with a lot of students that have been here longer concerning school occurrences and how the administration works.
