please fill everyone in.....we're still curious if its Yale or a yale affiliate. I'd be asking the same questions if it were UConn or a UConn affiliate.....

Give Juni some more time to get to the bottom of it before posting your confident yet innacurate views.

Sorry guys, I met with Dr. P this Tuesday and totally forgot to ask about the Yale resident (Yale vs affiliate issue). I'm in NYC right now, will have a chance at the all school meeting on Nov 3rd to address the issue. Hope this helps.

Ok, for those of you who went to the meeting today can vouch for me...The SMU grad got a Yale residency, and as Dr. P stated: She will rotate through other hospitals affiliated with Yale, but she got the residency through Yale proper. Congrats!

Also there are grads who got residencies at the Cleveland Clinic, Vanderbilt University, and I forgot the other one he mentioned.

Just to clarify further, according to what Dr. P stated, the SMU grad got a residency at Yale proper.

Please insert flames here

if true and complete congrats.....but people getting residencies at Griffin can also claim Yale residency bc they could potentially rotate thru yale med.....im not flaming, just pointing out how easy it would be (if that was the intent) to mislead. It just struck me as strange bc i know for a fact that yale is not caribbean friendly.....

by the way, this is the list a buddy of mine at yale gave me and only 2 or 3 foreign schools were listed and none from teh caribbean.....sorry i had to remove the list bc of the names
