Thread: minimum number of class days

Does anyone know the minimum number of class days, hours or weeks are required by the AMI (or whomever) for a class to count towards graduating credits. Is it 15 weeks at 10 hours per week or 14 weeks or how many. Not student attendence but classes taught by a professor. Thanks

Your question doesnt make sense. Whats the AMI? Medical school classes range anywhere for 1 credit to 12 credit hours. Just depends on what coruse it is.
You have to attend at LEAST 80% of the time for you NOT to fail the course due to absences.

80% of how many number of class sessions? not attendece but how many times a class must meet. If a class was scheduled for 15 weeks but only met for 12 weeks for some reason, would it count as a complete class or would time have to be made up? thanks

I'm at another school and our Pharm class only met 57 times (under 12 weeks) instead of 75 times (15 weeks) and people obviously did poorly. It seems at least very unfair, at most not in compliance with licensure. Any thoughts??

It's 80% of the time the class meets. In Cayman, dont expect too many days off like there were in Maine (due to snow). Cayman, even if its raining pretty hard, you WILL have classes. They havent canceled class once when I was there for a year

so for instance, if biochem is supposed to meet for 2 hrs each day for 15 weeks. how many classes could be cancelled, for whatever reason, and still meet the the minimum hourly requirement for credit? what do you think?
