Thread: failing a course

so heres a question.. if you fail a class can you still take classes scheduled for the next semester? do you repeat that class along with the next semester classes or what? how many classes can one fail and still take classes for the next semester? how does this work? anyone know?

If you fail a class, you are allowed to take any classes in the next semester that scheduling permits and that do not require the unsuccessful class as a pre-requisite. Once you fail 24 credits over your time at SMU, you are dismissed from the program.

failing is bad period, but hey everyone has issues sometimes.. i say the next time around when you take your classes, just focus more and try to do better because remember this time you will be taking courses from before as well as what you plan to take this semester g'luck
