I'll answer your questions from my point of view. I have passed Step 1 with a score of 24X and CS and will be taking CK soon.

    1. SMU...has DR.SK as its basic sciences dean who is corrupt..changes whatver he wants without even letting the administration in orlando know....

Answer: who cares, I passed all of my exams at SMU with scores such that I could never be effected by this.

    2. Look at other better options..like SGU, Ross, AUC, SABA- all these schools are approved in ALL the states in US.
if you can't get into those try AUA (Approved by California also.), MUA and other schools.

I agree with this as I have said many times before

    3. SMU is one of the few schools which has been disapproved by California. (when you google, the California disapproval shows up).

If you really want to work in California then yes, but looking at the matchings this year California as a state is not very IMG friendly.

    4. ABSOLUTELY no loans.

Obviously if you need loans this is a no brainer. I didn't so it was fine for me

    5. It is better to go to a school which has not been disapproved by California, if you have a choice.

    You've already said this

    6. Go to SMU ONLY IF....you have NO other choice....and you can pay the fees out of your own pocket.

Again you keep repeating yourself. To be honest you only had three points.

    UPDATE!!! 05/02/2012
Dr.SK dean of basic sciences reversed the ruling and kept the passing score the same, helping the students.
It seems it was some administrative miscommunication.

Kudos to the school for fixing this issue and doing the right thing!!!

if you already passed step 1, why did you transfer? what they are doing on the island shouldn't concern you any more.
