Thread: AIDS awareness day Mon June 23rd

I'm very glad we're participating in the AIDS awareness day thing on Monday and will be proud to take part. Does anyone know if the announcement on Angel that says "dress down" means that we don't have to wear uniforms? Coz it also says to wear red, and our uniform, other than the vets, is white. I don't wanna get fined by the lady at the door and sent home by Dr K, but I do wanna commemorate the fight against AIDS. Please help.

My understanding is that "dress down" means no uniform. They want you to wear red for awareness. Your "fine" for not being in uniform will be a donation to the cause instead of the school.

We did a good job today, 1200 CI was raised for AIDS awareness in Cayman and they ask us to spread the word that this week there's free confidential testing for anyone who wants to know their status.

I don't know what the regular fine is. Yesterday we donated any amount; there was no fixed fine. Just whatever you wanted to give.
