Looks like its good to be a Fall 08 student with all this Financial Aid HORROR

What can I expect from my interview. I have one scheduled tomorrow. How soon did you find out if you were accepted or not. I am also from NY now living in MD. All loans are on hold right now and I think that the school is working out a direct assistance program for students directly

hi butterfly, just to answer your question to cannoli, my interview was on a monday and i found out the good news that friday (he said 4-5 days so i thought it would be the following monday). the director of admissions performed the interview and he was a doll, he also made the notification phone call and was so friendly, he even said he called me on friday to give me the good news before the weekend.

i'm getting nervous with all this loan talk, teri was approved for me and i feel like i am fine. should i not be thinking that way? are there other issues i am not completely aware of? i hope they are able to dispurse the money to smu in the fall. i know teri went benkrupt but they get the funds from bank of america and wachovia.

Just had my interview on Friday and the interview said he would recommend for admissions and that I would hear back from Wednesday. I am so excited I hope it will be concensus that I am in there. I have also received admissions to 2 other carib med schools and am trying to weigh my options. Did you find financing options yet.

financing through teri loans and mba program.

I just hope they continue to improve on what they already got going for them ,,weed out so so teachers to get new ones maybe more from the usa and areas like greece, italy, sweden and so on but speak english well...the school has a good admin as well,,keep improving it and be honest with the students will make them bigger than ross one day
the students coming to smu nowadays make this school what it is today..new t shirt designs to community activites to research should continue,,,,the us students will make this school greater

Well you should call TERI and find out if they are still going to disburse the loan even though they backed out, especially if you got it through WACHOVIA because they fell off the face of the earth...if it's Bank of America you prob would be ok but once again call and make sure they will give you the money

As you know now the interview was fine, general questions but they will get back to you within the week....I don't think your entry is a problem but the funding is a different story :P
