Tried to call FA about some loans that I found and no one picks up...does anyone know the school code?

do you know if SMU applies for the loans for you after receiving the financial aid verification worksheet (including MBA program, i put davenpost on my fafsa) or do we do it ourselves?

I called the FA office and spoke to a woman who was extremely helpful. It toko a few rings, so maybe no one was there at the time. definately try again. also, she said upi apply for the teri loan by yourself online for up to 25,000/2 semesters (without a co-signer) and up to 65,000/3 semesters (bank of america) and 45,000/3 semesters wachovia. (I know the websote elaborates) The MBA program you just add to the fasfa and they mail you your reward which will cover tuition and fees for MBA and housing.

Oh crap, what dyou mean hard to get approval? I don't want a co-signer and I have good credit on my own so I was hoping to get the 25,000 on my own and then the MBA program.

Well they are really picky..if you have one late payment they will decline you, try applying online they will give you a response within an hour or so via email...but its def hard to get

my chances?
I wana apply for Fall 08..and since i didnt find a "what are my chances" thread, i decided to post here.
I have ~ 2.8 undergrad gpa and a 2.9 science gpa.
Psychology Major, Minor in Biology.
Graduating May 2008.
International volunteering/observing experience.
2 years work in an Ophthalmologist's office.
Interned as a Youth Development Counselor.
And..I just took my MCATs today for the first time..im guessing i will probably score around 25. Probably gona take it again soon, what should I aim for in order to have a good chance at SMU?

You HOPE you score about 25. I figured that I would score around 26 or 27, unfortunately that wasn't the case. Good Luck.
