january 2008, match in 2012?

just curious to know if the class starting in January of 08 will match into the 2012 match and start residency in 2012. I read another thread and someone said it would be possible to get into the 2011 match. I do not see how this is possible. So starting residency for the jan. 08 class will be 2012 correct
