Dr.H's behavior at Dr.F's session today

Unbelievably rude and incosiderate behavior of Dr.H in today's session - don't think he would ever allow it (talking loud on the phone in the middle of her lecture multiple times, etc) in his own lectures. Extremely rude to somebody who was trying to help us by giving her time & knowledge... just feel really bad for her.

Is that really a suprise? i mean, come on... r u serious?
i remember when our new psych prof. started teaching... he would sit in and his phone would start ringing and he'd answer and walk out at the same time....
now if it was a students during his lecture... he would make a funny/annoyed face....
He shouldnt even be a prof... i went to his review sessions... completely worthless... waste of time... this man does not guide you in the rite direction at all...

Just pass the tests and move on, evaluating teachers so close is not your job and passing the class is..maybe you should consider another place

    harsh.

if there is someone, ANYONE answering their phone in the middle of class and disrupting lecture talk to the Dean about it. its wasting your time.
but remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.

All it takes is for some faculty to commit one "faux pas" and everyone jumps on him.

And I find it amazing...that it's always the non-psych majors..and ones with zilch experience in psychology who criticize Dr. H.

He is a great teacher....he teaches and tests you on only what he teaches.

He literally answered his cell phone in class proceeded to walk to the back and spoke very loudly on his phone !!!. He did this several times !!!

I was so shocked to see him do this cause he was so excited and honored to have Dr. F come give a special lecture. Oh man what would DR H do if a student did the same thing in his class !!! Talk about unprofessionalism.

yeah he is a great teacher, but that doesn't make it ok to disrupt a lecture. i personally enjoyed his class quite a bit...still he should know better. he used to leave his phone on all the time even when lecturing and took calls.

    huhh?? Whatever that means.
It's obvious I meant non-psych majors who criticize his teaching style.

Everyone makes mistakes... tell your fellow students to turn their phones off which ring every day, stop waching movies, porn, stop laughing loud, acting like they are in a elementary school cafeteria, stop chatting on the IMs, stop signing for each other, stop all this nonsense which goes on every day in every class.
