The Davenport program is in my opinion, much better than St Joe's was. The tution is much cheaper, you can take more classes per semester (they offer 7 week online classes), and I find that some of the professors grade on a much less subjective scale than St Joe's.

I was able to transfer 12 (or was it 15?) credits out of 18 from St Joe's program.
The coordinator for the SMU-Davenport MBA program is amazing. She's very nice, very quick to reply, and is very eager and willing to help with anything.

SMU made a great decision in affiliated with Davenport, even though St Joseph's campus in Maine was beautiful and welcoming.

I completely agree, dealing with Davenport has been extremely easier than I thought that it would. If I ever have a question, I just e-mail my adviser and within 1-2 hours I have a response back already. The class Professors are kind of hit and miss in regards to how they grade. My last class Professor would hardly contribute and graded pretty laid back. But... then my Professor before that was a big wig CEO of some bank and contributed every day to our class, and graded our papers/homework assignments with a fine toothed comb. My wife is now doing Davenport along with me, so that we could get more financial aid, and setting everything up for that was a very easy transition, Mr. B is very easy to deal with.

its not bad.... you just have to prioritize. I planned it so that I never had to worry about Davenport a week before block exams. A couple of the classes I just spent one weekend doing every assignment so that I was totally finished with the class in one week. Sometimes it was hard in 2nd semester because the 2nd semester classes took a whole lot more of my time studying compared to 1st semester. Some of the Davenport classes bog you down with constant busy work..... such as logging in 5 days a week and commenting on other student article summaries, etc. But I'm glad I'm doing it still.... I'd definitely go for it.... If you're worried about Davenport taking too much time for you, you can always start mid-semester so that you could see if you could fit in Davenport....
