    Stafford loans vs. TERI/Healthxpress loans

    How much money do you really save in the long run with the stafford vs. teri/healthxpress loans. Interest doesn't accumulate for subsidized stafford, but I believe it does for unsubsidized...so it seems like you are not really saving that much extra money with the federal loans. Is this a correct assumption?

    loans

    off the top of my head:

    stafford loans fixed 6.25%
    private loans (health express, etc.) variable 9.+%
