Question Student Privacy

I currently live at Residence Suites. On Friday, my house-mate entered my room, which was locked. I don’t know how he could get in, but he could. He told people that he knew a way to get in my room. I just figured this out on Friday. I don’t know how many time he has gone into my room! I heard from my friend that he also took pictures of my room. I am very scared. I don’t know what to do. Could you please give me some ideas? What should I do? Should I report to Dr. H? Thanks

In this case, if you have enough evidence you can report to SB (RS Manager) and Dr. N. I think they will investigate your case.

contact the police and have this person arrested. Once your done with the Island, locate him and do what you need to do. :-)

On a serious note, I would be real mad at this person, and the situation clearly needs to be addressed.

Contact Sebastien and demand an immediate change of apartment, if he does not take any action, then contact the police department.

Privacy is a serious issue, dont take it slightly!

peace !

How creepy!

Why the pictures? Creepy!

Did he set up a hidden camera in your room?

Creepy.

Any missing property?

Does he have missing property and thought you may have taken or used it?

Hello,
Why does SMU have too many problems like this (invaded other's privacy, smoking, drinking, naked, stealing, exam cheating, attendant cheating, etc.)? I think in the future, SMU should interview applicants by person not by the phone, so they "can" minimize of accepting those trash........

Give me a break. EVERY school (USA and off-shore) has these problems. The reason they are mentioned at SMU is because they are SO rare, out of the ordinary. It's big news when an incident occurs. Tell SGU they should interview their latest incoming student.

A lot of the time, the biggest cheaters, thieves and drug addicts, have acquired the best interview skills. They've perfected lying, proper dress, sincere smile, and knowing what you want to hear, to an art.
