A car if you live in Brooklyn for clinicals??

I'm not sure where to post this question so I apologize if it needs to be moved. My question is if you go to NY to do clinicals and you live in Brooklyn, is there a place to park your car without having to pay for a garage, or do most students who live in Brooklyn leave their cars behind? Thanks in advance!

Parking shouldnt be a problem if you're living in Brooklyn. But it all depends on the area where you live and sometimes finding parking can be a pain, or something like moving a car because of the streets being cleaned or meters.

Where I live in Brooklyn, it's kinda hard to find parking on the street I live on because there's so many people in such a small area. Usually if parking opens up it's just a few minutes until another car takes that spot.
Then if you're lucky enough to find a parking spot, you have to move it to the other side of the street (or move the car period) because street cleaners clean the streets. If not you get a nice, big, bright, hard-to-peel-off warning sticker on your car.
There's parking garages, but they're fairly expensive ($800-1200/month).

If you don't want to bring your car, the subways/trains/buses take you everywhere you need to go usually.

I really don't have a hard time finding parking unless I get home after midnight. You don't really need to park your car by a garage, unless you live in Manhattan. I seen parking garages that go from $80-$300 a month. There is a parking garage by Wyckoff that charges $80 a month. It's only a block away.
