Wanna know where to live in miami 5th semester?

wanna know where to live in miami if you don't have a car?

anywhere within the red line. either the bus or the train will take you to larkin (the green arrow) within minutes.

if you have a car, of course you can live outside the lines.

This is just from my experience being in miami for half a year. And in case you're wondering, i pay less than $500 rent, and live within the red line. So don't fret peeps.

Miami map

Thanks for the map, it really helps.

Did you have roommates, live in someone's house or have your own apartment?

no roommates.

i've lived in an efficiency that is part of a house.
and i've split a two bedroom apartment, with my own room and shared kitchen.

Hey hanginlimbo,

I though you said that Coral Gables is a dump ....i got it from my favorite post

"funny how you guys think miami is some paradise.

where larkin is located, there is nothing to do. coral gables is a dump. fortunately for you, larkin is located in the white neighborhood. no espanol...".

if coral gables is a dump what is the rest of city, don't tell me there is nothing close to larkin......5 minutes from the hospital you find Sunset place, Dadeland mall, coconut grove maybe 10 minutes away and coral gables is full of nightclubs.........about the.... no spanish neighborhood that is not true .....spanish people are all over the city including the doctors at Larkin hospital....

anyways the idea about the map was good.....,

I think you are confusing Coral G. with Little Havana.I would like to know where you live.......maybe that way i will understand why are you calling Coral Gables a dump.......unless you live in Star Island or Fishers Island you shouldn't say that about Coral Gables ......i never thought that someone would call Coral G. a dump.My point is that there are a lot of students that are going to Miami next semester and they are looking for places to stay, but if you keep posting those kind of comments about Coral G. ( which by the way is one of the closest nieghborhoods to Larkin) they are going to believe that is true when is not and they are going to miss a nice area to live in, so if that's your opinion ........it is ok with me.....but do not mis inform the students in this forum.........hey people if you find a nice place in Coral G. at a reasonable price ....get it because it is a nice area where a lot of rich people live.

We've been told that the Kaplan course will be held in the 7000 building, basically across the street from Larkin.
