Sherris, Medical microbiology By Kenneth J. Ryan, C. George ***

July 14, 2003
ISBN 0838585299 / 9780838585290

I will have a syllabus by the end of the first week. Section IX (the last 14 chapters) will not be used. This is infectious diseases using a systems approach. We will refer to them, but they will not be assigned reading.

For immunology, I am unfamiliar with what is posted on the web site, so we will use one of the accessory texts - Roitt's essential immunology by Peter Delves. 2006. ISBN-10: 1405136030
ISBN-13: 978-1405136037

Both are available used on Amazon. Also, I would strongly recommend Warren Levinson's USMLE prep book. This will be the primary source you use in USMLE prep.

Review of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, 10th Edition (Lange Basic Science)

Publisher: McGraw-Hill Medical; 10 edition (May 8, 2008)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 0071496203
ISBN-13: 978-0071496209
