No Cali or NY as far as I know.

isnt this academic fraud? you cant erase the credits from one school and pretend the credits came from another on a transcript. this is a big red flag. st martinus is trying to bait the students in. the SC students have been through enough already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why conduct another experiment on them? this is shameful of st martinus.

STAY AWAY.

Yes, but there taking an examination to prove they have learned the material so once they have passed the examination how come they the SC credits can't be erased?..it is fraud not to list the post secondary and medical schools one has attended but if it was listed and it was also stated that they took an examination to prove the credits would that still be fraud?

yes, but they stated that they wouldnt list the credits as coming from SC and they would all come listed from st martinus...... thus fraud.

"having a complete transcript from one school".............. that is erasing the SC credits and replacing them with st martinus credits when all they did was take an exam there. THIS IS NO DIFFERENT FROM A SCHOOL THAT GIVES ADVANCED STANDING TO DENTISTS, PODIATRISTS, ETC...

after going through all the stuff at their previous school, a former SC student would have to be on crack to attempt another experiment.

AZ, rrod, neilc, picard help me out here to keep SC students out of this "offer." my god, they have been through enough already...... and scams are already popping up.

Without ever claiming to be an expert, much less a legal paragon on the byzantine rules of licensure, my initial reaction would have to be that this is a No Go.

Your Primary Medical Qualifications must, in the vast majority of US states, be achieved through ON CAMPUS coursework - re. the Online-M.D. debate. And I have NEVER heard of any licensing authority which has approved medical course credits achieved through "Advanced Placement". That's stuff you can do in High School, not in a graduate medical school.

Personally, I think it will be a HUGE mistake to take advantage of this offer. Especially if it is determined that St. Chris never actually worked under a valid charter. Then you'd have courses completed at a non-WHO/IMED school AND credits on your transcript achieved through "Advanced Placement". Don't think that'll get you licensed ANYWHERE...

If SC students gain "advanced standing" by examination at St. Matinus (or any other university), this MUST BE clearly identified as such on the transcript. The above statement sounds like St. Martinus is trying to make it so that if a transfer student "tested out" basic science courses by examination, the school will make the transcript look as if those courses they "tested out" were completely physically in Curacao -- this is CRIMINAL FRAUD. If you are caught (and you probably will be), licensure denial or losing license is the least of your concerns. You will most likely be charged criminally ranging from purjury, practice medicine without a license (if you did indeed get a license, and then were later found out), and battery on patients (since your license is fraudulently obtained)... just to name a few. You will most likely be looking at jail time.

Licensure issues aside (and as much as it is advisible to start over), there is nothing wrong with "testing out" of courses if it's clearly identified as such. In these cases, St. Chris transfer students WILL NEED official transcripts from SC come residency application/licensing time. THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE A "COMPLETE TRANSCRIPT FROM ONE UNIVERSITY" is to physically attending it from day one (meaning starting over, not testing out anything). Anything short of that, you will need transcripts from St. Chris. Doing anything else is illegal and will probably land the graduate in jail... I can't believe St. Matinus actually posted an offer like this in public. They just admitted to conspiracy to committ fraud in public.
