fors Gods sake

im a graduate from st james and currently chief resident in my program...i read thru this thread during my memorial weekend off and i was amazed by comments by certain valuemd members from schools other than st james...

when i was a med student, i did not have time to post on websites like this and i dont understand how med students have all this time to spare to post diatribes...

i personally had a great experience w/st james and i saw that are students who have a great experience in the caribbean med schools and some who do not...

as chief resident, i have a very active role in teaching american med students and i feel caribbean students are as good...caribbean med students have a drive to succeed since we know we are being compared to amer med students

my advice, study, study, study, then study some more to prove yourselves to everyone especially the naysayers...just my 2 cents...

SJSM is not really new. They done a decent job and have stduents in residency, clinicals etc. They get a bad rap sometimes
