Thumbs up I agree..

I think the major factor in getting into residency is your board scores. A great board score is equivalent to someone going to Rush or Hopkins or wherever. It shows that you grasp the concepts that you need to be a good doctor. A great doctor well thats gonna take some time and hard work. ONE more thing and EDUCATION IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT NOT WHERE YOU WENT TO SCHOOL.
I definitely agree with you! Unfortunately some of us are not able to attend the best medical institutions for whatever reasons. But it is what we make out of it in a medical college that will take us somewhere. If we have the determination to learn, understand and grasp the material to be an excellent physician than no one can stop us from achieving the best!

I love it too. I just wish administration would stop showing us the stinkee pinky and take more pride in the school like attracting quality prof's.

Cost and loans and 4 semesters of Basic, 1.5 years and back in the states was my reason ( I'm getting settled in my new place and step one study next!)

Don't forget it's only $4,200 per semester for the same education that you will get out of most Caribbean schools. Don't forget some of the professors are quite good, including one that was researcher at Yale for 15 years!
