Exclamation St. James has declared war!

Hello all. St. James has declared war on it ex-students. That's right, St. James is trying to collect $4,000 from students who have left the school. Absolutely ridiculous! I paid that joke of a "school" $6,000 for 3 weeks of education, and now they are trying to collect an additional $4,000 in "administrative costs." Suggesting they could have filled my spot with another student. We had 20 students, at most, in our Jan. '05 class; there was enough room for 40 students in our classroom. Futhermore, St. James had over 3 months to fill the void. Why didn't they do it? It seems to me they couldn't, so they are trying to cheat their ex-students out of an additional $4,000. Well, I say screw St. James! Take me to collections, court or whatever, I am not giving you losers a cent! In fact, I am going to try me very very best to put you losers out of business! That's right, you want a war, you got it! But, I never take a defensive stance. I always attack! So you better be ready, because here I come!

Dear fellow ex-students of St. James, it is time for us to unite, contact some attorneys, as well as some government officials, and go to town on St. James. Please contact me at doggbaker@yahoo.com or pm me, and we will get started. I am in the DC area now and am going down to the senate buildings here within the next couple of days. By pleading our case together, we should have some real leverage.

Let's go to work!

What's up everyone,

If what you're saying is true (and I would immagine it is), I say go get em! There's no room for that funny stuff in any branch of the educational process. Keep everyone posted, and good luck!

I have no basis to join you in your complaint, as I was never asked for any money and I was provided my transcripts in a "reasonable amount of time from my request" despite being lied to in the process. Before charging after windmills by going political on them (which doubtfully would have much impact other than resolving your immediate case) I'd suggest contacting the Department of Education (both federal and in Illinois), the Better Business Bureau in Chicago (after all, SJSM is a busness in the US and not a school) and the ICC [Interstate Commerce Commission (after all, they are conducting business across borders).

A few words of advice: avoid the use of adjectives (most only inflame the writer and weaken the presentation). State only facts--the recipients are far better versed in seeing the wrong than you and know what is applicable. If you present a clean issue for them their lightbulbs flick on quickly.

You will be surprised with the expediency of a response, which will inform you if they are taking your issue on or not. If they don't, then go political. Congressmen love case work.
