Thread: Anguilla Campus Jan 2012

Hey, just wanted to start a thread for the students starting in Jan 2012 at the Anguilla Campus. I'm excited but at the same time freaking out! Figured a few of us could get in contact with each other from now so that we aren't completely friendless when we get there. Also, just wondering what everyone was bringing down with them in regards to books, supplies, and things for your apartment?

hi im anwar, im headin there in jan 2012 also. Im coming from long island, NY. I heard the books u should buy in the states. As for the supplies and apartmentstuff, you should buy at the island.

Hey Anwar, I have heard not to even buy the books for MD1 and to just get the BRS books. The admissions counselor told me to buy what I can here in the states bc things can be expensive down there, especially electronics. I was trying to look into having a barrel shipped over with a lot of stuff-I think if I don't I will have a crazy amount of bags. Are you flying to St. Maarten and catching the ferry over or are you flying right into Anguilla? I live in Jersey and am trying to figure out the best way to get over there and when exactly to fly out.

Hi, i'm also heading out to Anguila for the Jan 2012 semester. Any info on housing, shipping things out there and getting a car? And what are the most important things to take to the island? Thanks

Also what drew you guys to pick the Anguilla campus over the Bonaire campus?

Riaz from Ann Arbor, Michigan about to start Jan at Anguila. I was placed in the anguila campus because my counselor said, there were not seating available at Bonaire.

For those of you that we're accepted for Jan 2012, what we're your stats? Has anyone ever been rejected?
