the couple in Chicago, What did they try and have they looked into outside the match? To be successful in the Match you have to do three things 1. Pick a residency that does not get filled 2. Be willing to move anywhere 3. rank tons of programs not just 3 or 5. |

WHY? You do not know as I do not know at this time?
I can find out though since I know all the those a year ahead of me or a semester ahead. Why do we not verify first? |

hahahahahaha!!!
You've got to be kidding me lol. Prematch in NS? These spots are super competative and are mostly filled up by U.S allopathic seniors. There also some D.O NS programs filled completely by D.Os. Prematch usually exist in the programs that go unfilled year after year. Thanks for a good laugh though.

When a school doesn't post their matches on their website it usually is not a good sign. Red flag if you don't see where people matched and numbers. If you had good matches and good % of graduates matching a scholl would promote it. All the better schools list where people matches and percentages AUC, Ross, SGU, Saba, AUA, SMU, etc....

As far as a small school like SJSM why do you even care? Grads Match and Grads get Licensed and the school is what it is, to many a chance to study medicine and a chance to Be an MD, If you do not think its the school for you, Fine As far as SJSM or any school like it, you are looking at low cost, no MCAT needed, and will consider Students that other schools may not for that chance to study medicine, I have always thought of SJSM as a "Last Chance School" but for those of us that make it through and succeed it proves that if you study and work hard you can. SJSM gave us this shot. Why would you want to take that away? I think for those who truly will do the work and get accepted, then they should be allowed to attend and succeed. Then again many times Premeds are making these judgments and only around 25% ever make it to medical school anyway. ![]() As far as SJSM, I think everyone should look at the Big three (SGU, ROSS and AUC) they have Federal student Loans and large schools, more resources and a good 30 year track record, but as I said not everyone will be accepted.
