Check Bonairetalk.com.

They talk about all kinds of thing on there, and frequently discuss pet issues.

I've looked through some of the discussions there, and most talk about their dogs but no cats.

There are some links to the animal shelter that might be of assistance.

There are lots of cats on the island and most landlords don't mind having one in your apartment. They sell cat food and treats at all the grocery stores but cat litter can be scarce at times. Right now they are stocked up pretty well but it can be touch and go. We went a few months without any last semester but sand and baking soda works just as well. I didn't bring my cat with me, we adopted him from the animal shelter here but have used the vet located right beside the shelter to have him fixed and the vet is really good. Since cats can fit under the seat on the plane it isn't to hard to bring one with you. You will need to make sure you get it's rabies vaccine and all it's shots at least 3 weeks ahead of departure and have proof of everything to come to Bonaire.

Official Health Certificate

I know from the US you have to have Official Health Certificates from the state veterinarian. Ask your vet about requirements early. It took a little more than a month to get the Health Certs processed for my dogs.
