Thanks so much, and do you guys have any advice for us MS1 students?

Like should we begin to study for histology? anatomy? What books do you guys recommend we get aside from the text books?

I'm currently looking in buying a skeleton model. As well as a muscle model (full body).

And lastly,
What kind of anatomy kits should we buy? Standard? Any special utensils we should buy?

MYMD sent me a DVD with .pdf files of a number of textbooks and BRS reviews. It also has the audio files for Goljan lectures.

i was reading that you were giving name of some text, i was wondering if these are the text we have to have. and where can we get it in the island or any where. and also if you can tell what to bring to island for students that are new. that will be helpful thanks

i will attend may of 08. only 2 more weeks to get to the island.

Many of them are the texts you will need, and some are second semester. A few of them are review material, but can be useful to study from.

I'm not due on the island until August, so I'm not going to be much help with that.

Branlorenz that is a great idea ! It would really help since it probably will get overwhelming ! Count me in!!!!

I will be on the Island as of Fall 08 as well I think thats when we decided to start our study gorup? Right branlorenz.

I was supposed to start in may but Ive moved that to the fall because Ive been very ill, and I didnt think it would be a good Idea coming in may that way Ill have time to recover, I had a seroius sinus infection which Ive always had sinus problems but anyways it caused me to get menningitis and I was in the hospital for a week.

Hey guys I have a human body model we could use its life size and some really good posters, I think Ill bring them.

Thats great to hear you're starting in Fall 08 as well man. Please do bring the human body model. I already have a 3 foot human skeletal model. Lets keep our study group limited, guys. No more than 5 at least. Its easier for us that way.

Good luck and see you guys soon. Hey Rod, when do you think you're going to go to the island go look for an apartment? I'm thinking about heading to Bonaire on mid July to find an apartment--then coming back stateside for another month or so before finally going back to Bonaire.

Perhaps we can meet up then.
