AUC is a great school. AUC, ROSS and SGU have graduates that have topped USMLE scores. I will not mention names but SJSM had a student who graduated in 04 who received a 98 percentile in the step one. |

Here you go, info
Australia continues to undermine the credibility of HR and enlists the help of its major allies in this. It is not surprising that many individuals and organizations have been deceived by political propaganda on the subject. However, you can find official acknowledgement from the West Australian tourism website.
Fact. Palestine, Malta, HR, The Vatican, Tibet, Taiwan and a number of other micro-nations are not members of the United Nations but without doubt are countries in their own right. The UN itself did not even exist 100 years ago. Membership of the UN is not part of the qualification to become an independent country. The reverse is the situation. Fact. If you need further official confirmation on the status of HR look no further that the website of the Australian National Museum in Canberra. Fact. Some claim that HR exists only on the Internet! Tell that to the thousands of tourists who visit HR each year. Australian national TV often promotes HR as a tourist destination. Fact. Occasionally an Australian official will claim that HR is subject to Australian law. Upon cessation in 1970 HR adopted the administrative law of Australia as it was at that time. Since then some laws peculiar to HR have been enacted and a Constitution introduced. Fact. HR is not subject to the tax laws of Australia. In fact the Australian Tax Office rules that HR residents are Non-Resident Australia for tax purposes. Fact. The Australian Postal Service does not have a post code for HR because it is not a part of Australia and it does not deliver mail there. Fact. Australian officialdom years ago advised an Australian Minister that HR is a legal entity and its passports are legal. They advised that HR passport holders should be required to obtain a visa to enter Australia. Fact. Quite a few smaller nations (and a few not so small) have given official recognition to HR and its diplomats. More are currently considering this. Fact. The Australian tax office advises that HR companies “may” not be legal. HR says that no Australian may be connected with an IBC and if they are the IBC will not be legal. Fact. There are claims in some quarters that HR companies are scam related. It is a fact that no one has ever been convicted of using an HR company for any illegal purpose, something that cannot be said of companies from most other countries. No doubt it will happen one day but it has not yet. Fact. A minor British government official reportedly stated that HR is not independent “and never will be.” In fact HR ceded 36 years ago and Australia has not attempted to re-assert sovereignty in all that time. Who can seriously believe people who have their facts wrong and also claim to know the future with such certainty? Fact. Prince Leonard has been Head of State in HR for 36 years. Very few countries can equal this degree of stability. Does yours? Fact. HR does not have legislation covering many activities – it simply does not need a high level of red tape when the population is so small. |

THE BOTTOM LINE:
We're already taking enough of risks by coming to a medical school abroad, there's absolutely no need to further expand such risks by getting oneself involved in some political debacles and liberation fiasco of this 'micro-nation' Unless of course you're feeling wildly adventurous beyond my imagination... |
