I am canadian too, Were you guys eligible for government loans from canada??

ugh...no melloyello =[...unfortunatly we arent eligable for osap or w/e becoz saint james isnt approved to get osap loans. we have to get actual loans from the bank..i actually looked into TDcanadatrust...they have probably THE LOWEST interest rate. they give you a year before you have to start paying it back and yea =]. its actually not that bad =]

plus i called the osap people and since our fees are more than 10 000 dollars per year (for 3 sem in a year)...thats the max that osap can give us. even with osap, we wud have to find other funding for the rest of the money. and also,we wouldnt be eligable for canadian millenium grants, ontario access grants or the queen elizabeth scholarship =[...i thought i could save atleast 7000-8000 dollars a year coz i was getting all these scholarships and grants here that i wudnt have to pay back but ..if we were eligable to get osap for saint james, we wud have to rely on all loans and stilll find funding from elsewhere for the difference. =[
