Studio Apartment available for long term rent.
$740 USD per month plus utilities.
Caribbean Court is one block from the Ocean and about a mile from St. James and Xavier. It is home to a lot of med students so you can share rides, internet connection and have the company of your classmates but your own apartment.
This apartment is about 375 square meters. It has a bathroom with hot water, air-co, safe in the living room, small terrace. It is a very safe place to live, good neighborhood. It is on the second floor of a three floor building.

This apartment is very small. I do not think you would be happy with two people here.

As for the studio, the bed pictured is usually used as a sofa and the sofa folds down into a comfortable queen size bed. It is possible to put a regular bed into the apartment and I would be willing to get one for you. But the place is tiny for two people.

The tenant is moving out in mid april - so this apt will be available if you arrive early for May term.

Just to clear up any misunderstandings, my apartments at Caribbean Court are not the same as those rented out by the larger owner, who is at the front desk.
My apts have extra locks installed, safes, updated furniture, newer air co units and furniture, and more.
The cockroach to people population on Bonaire is probably 10.000 to 1 if not higher, (just my guess) but they are controllable with spray, fumigation and simply taking out your trash.
I live at CC and absolutely positively do not have any cockroach problem at all, nor do any of my tenants.
I see that Della has a lot of negative things to say and I wish that his experience on the island was not so upsetting to him and hope that his experiences and opinions do not negatively influence incoming students.
New students living at Caribbean Court will be in the company of a lot of other students. If you are in one of my apartments, you will have a comfortable, clean place to live. You will be living in an apartment where no student or guest prior to you has been robbed and you will have a landlord who lives on site and will make sure that your needs are met, help you with the initial transition of moving to Bonaire and on through graduation.
I agree with Della that you will want a car. But your entire experience on Bonaire and enjoyment of med school also changes with having a car (or scooter). I do not mind helping in your search for a car, explaining how insurance and taxes work and where you need to go, and what to do to sell your car at graduation time.
I am sorry that Della has so much negativity to spread.

And by the way Della, a bit of controversy never hurt publicity, so I will have to give you a quick thanks for that one.
