    white coat ceremony attire

    Advertisements

do i need to bring a suit down for this event, or are slacks, button down, and a tie sufficient? i'd rather not have to wear a jacket due to the oppressive grenadian heat, but i don't want to be the only dude not wearing a suit.

    thanks.

skirt etc. Like a nice night out; nothing too fancy. anything you'd wear to work at the hospital works.

    Nothin' too fancy...

Don't bother bringing a ton of nice clothes - just something that you would wear to an entry-level job interview and something to wear out on a Friday night if you feel the urge to hit up Bananas.

Most people will quickly toss aside their new Polo and Tommy Hilfiger after the first week in Grenada; quickly turning to scrubs and a white t-shirt for daily attire.

What do the fans in the stands where? I'm a S.O. armed with a camera to capture the whole thing on film. Do I need to dress a bit? Is there a cocktail reception or something afterwards?

actually most people don't wear scrubs only in lab... its rare that I'll see someone wearing scrubs around campus unless they are coming/going to the lab.

That being said I say wear shorts and a Tshirt to the white coat... but what do I know I wore slacks and a button down shirt
That's my 2 cents and I want some change back.
