Not only is it on the 1st term booklist, but you have to buy it even if you already have it, so if you don't have it don't shell out the money because then you will be buying it twice. FYI you have no choice in picking and choosing books for 1st term- you have to buy them all.

Did anyone bring down a printer? The list that I recieved said that they "STRONGLY RECOMMEND" a printer w/laptop. Aren't there enough printers in the library? Or should I go ahead and get one...

I'm going to plan on bringing one down. Does anyone have suggestions for a good printer that won't take up too much baggage allowance?

I bought a printer down here from an upper termer leaving for St. Vincent. Much easier in my opinion. On a side note, I will be selling a printer next term. :-)

I meant a stereo w/ a CD player. If I had an ipod i'd bring that but its too expensive. I guess its best to just listen on your computer. BTW does everyone bring a laptop or do some people send their PCs. And would it be suicidal to not bring a computer at all?

Hey Cooli, I am definitely buying a laptop, I think that it's mandatory now. A PC would be too much of a hassle to ship and everything. They said that most of their supplemental stuff for classes would be available on-line and you "have to have" a laptop.

There's one from Dell that's 6"x7" and weighs 5lbs and costs about $6-700
