well you should bring some sort of coat if you are going to come home in dec and through the north...it maybe 80 degrees when you left, but guarantee it will be in the 30s and the 40s when you come back!

foundations
books are not provided, but available to purchase at the bookstore on campus. if you have good college texts for the subjects (like biochem, anatomy, genetics) just bring those and it will be more than sufficient.. exams are based a lot off of lecture notes (esp biochem - his handouts are very clear and well organized)

no, the pmse is pretty much a fake mcat, testing on material learned in year 3. since you will only be taking term 1 of year 3, they format a separate exam for foundation accordingly. it is a verbal section, two essays and a science section with the science section having a lot of questions straight from previous exams (midterms, even from finals that we had just taken..)
