its a lock to put on your laptop. in case you want to walk away from your laptop, get lunch, go to class and come back, your laptop will not be stolen cause its locked down.

i dont think i have seen anyone that has tacked stuff on the wall, but taping stuff, yes.

Not specifically stated in the Housing Contract that I remember, but "if you break it, you buy it." I.E. any damage caused to your room (as determined by your RA) will be billed to your student account.

Just wanted to share some info from the Who? thread:

Garbage can

Hi all, anyone know if we are supplied with garbage cans in the True Blue dorms. I just wanted to know since those would take up a lot of space in my luggage. If not, I'd probably just buy one down there.

hey little indian boy,

if i'm not mistaken, i think the dorm kitchens have trash cans...so u won't need to worry about that
