of that whole list I would just bring:

water pitcher (and extra filter)
small iron (you can just iron on your bed, not a big deal, no one really cares about dressing up even when going out)

Thats about it...lol. Unless you plan on bringing enough for the entire semester its pointless to bring since you will run out. Might as well get something here and save space for other stuff. I guess if you cook a lot then bring that stuff.

I would leave out the spices and the rice. You can get that down there. Def. bring batteries and some "off" for the bugs. Instead of RAID why don't you just get a fly swatter? Works just as well. Also, I would bring peanut butter from home if there is a specific brand and whatever junk food is your fav. Otherwise I wouldn't bring food...

Oh, and do you recommend bringing a comforter? or a blanket?? like how hot/cold is it at night at TB ????
I would bring both-or do what I did: get one of those light down throws from Target/Walmart/FredMeyer and then get a light blanket too-between the different combos of PJ's and the above you'll stay comfy.

No Kraft PB, but the PB down here's not too bad.

why do i feel like i'm not gonna have nearly enough room??

hey, i have been looking at the classifieds, and there are a lot of ppl looking for toaster ovens. Am I crazy to attempt to bring one down there??? If I buy one there, is it going to be useable if I bring it back home (with regards to the electricity???)

just because ppl want a toaster oven doesnt mean u will need one. come down first and the decide what you will need. a lot of the stuff i brought down initially i never even touched.

Since we're talking about food, i thought i might as well ask...
I love pasta (its super-easy to cook and filling) so I'm just curious to know if you can get good spaghetti sauce down there. Thanks!

I wouldn't trust those... I had a friend get sick several times with the ones at the market... so I would bring your own or make your own down here....
