I didn't use it, I didn't go to the 'required' sessions...at least I don't remember doing it, but at least the option is there for you if you need it.

Havent been on this site for probably a year. Wow, life flies. I went to SGU from Jan 01 to May 05. Was accepted on the condition that I attend AED review sessions. I was suprised how many people were in the AED program, and yes it's true, most of the students do really well. I think I went to about 4 weeks of review sessions, than realized that I didn't really need them. But they are well taught and highly attended by students. But if you stop going, and you fail a class, they might not be as forgiving.
It's not that big of a deal if your in the program or not. You'll do fine either way. My MCAT's sucked thats why I was in the program. But ended up graduating in the top 15% of my class. Just a quick plug for this University. I'm incredibly grateful to SGU for giving me a chance to become a physician. You WILL get a good education, and have more fun doing it than any person attending any US school. Enjoy the Island. Its stressful, but you will miss it greatly when your done. SGU taught me how to take standardized tests..........I'm living proof that the MCAT is rubbish. I think I scored a big whoppen 21. I graduated from SGU with a 3.87 GPA, 22nd out of 220's in my class, 230's on both USMLES, and matched my number one choice at a Top 20 University program for Anesthesiology. If I can do it, TRUST me, you can too..........Good luck in Grenada. Look me up sometime if you want to pass gas for a specialty.
Sincerely,
Dr. Evil (Jason)
