Thread: I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!

Interview was July 16th, they said it would take 6-8 weeks to hear a response. This is week 8 and I'm still waiting! I called again today and they said they haven't heard back from the board this week. Did anyone else have to wait this long???????????


The admin team told me the delay was due to fixing up loose ends with the aug class.

When my husband interviewed, he interviewed in August, and heard back the very end of November. We have a friend that intereviewed in August as well, and heard 2 weeks prior to starting the January class. Hopefully you will hear something sooner than later, but just to ease your mind a bit if you don't hear anything on the 'sooner' end. Good luck! 8)

whooaa! that is really late. so much for deciding on a school early, as SGU seems to be one of the slowest in admissions.

sgu really is inconsistent with letting you know. Dont worry- it happens. Its annoying but the way to deal with it is to make very POLITE phone calls every couple of weeks on the 'status of " your application. And hang tight.

Like Steph said, call politely and request about the status of your app. My husband did the same. In fact they were very good about informing him of when the board was meeting and when he could expect to hear. He had to wait so long because they were waiting for a part of his app. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long.

I'm also in the same situation. I interviewed in July and am still waiting. I could not wait untill the second week out. I got into AUC and if I don't hear back from SGU by late Oct. I'll have to make plans to go to AUC. That would be unfortunate since my first choice is SGU.

All my info is in and has been in since my interview. Do you know why it is taking so long?

as above, call. Tell them that you need to make a decision and would rather go to sgu but can't afford to drop a deposit down on auc if you dont have to. CAll amanda ryan.
