Unfortunately, La Source was heavily damaged by Ivan. They are currently reconstructing it and nothing there is functional. They are saying that it will open in Fall... 2006. Like everything around here, believe it when you see it. However, I do agree... La Source and/or it's beach is definitely worth a visit if at all possible. La Source is near the end of the road that passes by the Aquarium.

They're the cutest old couple! They sit at the upper bus stop and sell snacks (all vegetarian). The pizzas are expecially yum.

Restaurants on the Island

Most of the restaurants I really liked on the island were pricy and the service is always slow except maybe La Boulangerie.

I'll just list them here:

The Aquarium - very good lobster and fish, good steak but very tiny
Thai Beach - food is excellent
La Boulagerie - decently priced Italian food; and don't forget to try their cappuccino...
La luna - probably the most expensive restaurant on the island but the food is well worth it. Their herb crusted fish is the best...
True Blue Bay - not one of my favorites... food portions and small and sort of pricy but they do have a buffet which is worth it.
Red Crab - excellent Snapper
La Dolce Vita - unfortunately it was destroyed by the hurricane but if it ever opens again their lobster rocked
Grill master - good kebab
Chinese place in mall - i think it sucks but some people like it.

Enjoy the food guys! You'll miss it when you go to Vinnies

This is a work in progress. But I've put up reviews of the restaurants I have eaten at so far and what I thought of them: Restaurant Reviews

btw, Can I second the suggestion to turn this page into a sticky.
