any non-sciece undergrad majors?

Hi,

Are there any non-science undergrad majors going to sgu? If you're one of them, what was your undergrad major?

Also, how do you plan on compensating for your non-science background in med school?

graduated with a ** in Business Managment

I did business because I liked how it was taught in my undergrad and i like the subject. I dont think i need to compensate for lack of science classes. I did do a minor in bio and took the prereq's for attending med school. Maybe that's why it took me 5 years to graduate from school with over 150 credits. No regrets, college was very fun and memorable. Wish i could do another 4 years there...but im coming to SGU soon and down to some serious work.

psych

I am graduating on Saturday from Purdue University as a psych major. I have not yet been accepted to SGU, but I have been interviewed (on Tuesday). In addition, I didn’t even take a full year pf physics, and just the other pre-med req’s (a year of every other science). My cum gpa is 3.25 and my science gpa is 3.18. Hope this helps you!

Andy

Well, I double majored in Physiological Science and History. Although half of my education was non-science related, I did manage with my other half just fine

Hope to see you all in Jan !

Psyche

I had a long winded pyschology degree...and then did the prereq's. I think if you did the prereq's...... that's all the science you need...then it's just hard work after that..... ... good luck and best wishes to all in Aug....don't forget to try La Sagesse beach and restaurant..
