Finance Major
I was a finance major at NYU and went to Pace University for my post-bac. My undergraduate GPA was 3.2. I didn't take any pre-med level science courses (Bio 101, Chem 101, Orgo, Phyiscs and Calculus) as an undergrad, but completed them at Pace instead with a 3.7. My MCAT was 28. I applied to SGU in May 2003 and got wait-listed #12 for their Aug. 2003 class. I accepted thier offer of starting in Jan 2004.
I plan on going back to Pace or my local community college next month to take Anatomy, Genetics (or whatever my advisor tells me to take) to level the playing field a bit. Hope this is helpful. |
