What happens between terms?

I'm just curious as to what students do with their stuff between terms. Unless you're living in the same place when you get back, do you take it home with you or is there a place where you can store it? Say, for example, during summer break after first term...

There is storage in the I building and in one of the superdorms. Bring extra space bags so you can store your stuff in water tight bags.

Also, it is a good idea to put dry rice in with your clothing and stuff so that there is no mold-the rice acts as a dessicant and absorbs the moisture.

Anything expensive that you want to see again take with you (ie laptop, ipod, etc)

The rice needs to have direct contact with the air that needs dessication. The greater surface area of dessicant available=increased dessicant efficiency. The plastic bags won't work unless you perforate them a bunch. A cotton cloth bag would be ideal, cheese cloth would be the best.
