Those plastic bags that you vacuum all the air out of to make them nice and compact, but they are also waterproof.

FWIW, they also come in ones that you don't need a vacuum for-you just roll them up and "squeeze" the air out. I think those ones are a bit cheaper too. You can get them online (thanks for the link GBMD) or you can sometimes find them in the luggage sections of WalMart, Target, Bon Marche, Nordstroms, et cetera, et cetera.

hahaha..thats what i thought! cuz i have a 15lbs of rice in one my stored luggage. too bad i didnt open it

And before you ask, NO, you CAN'T eat the rice after you've used it as a dessicant. Well, I guess you could but you'd either (a) get sick (b) it'd taste real bad or (c) all of the above. Also, y'all might want to bring back some of those cedar moth balls-so that the clothes don't get all musty smelling.
