I'm writing to ask now about miscellaneous info regarding St. Georges. I really need this info if I'm going to plan ahead and don't go totally nuts at REI and pack way too much stuff. My father and my girlfriend are nagging me. And this is making me paranoid. I need this info.
-How far are the cafeterias from the student dorms? Are we talking fifteen minutes' walk or more? (Sometimes cafeterias can be more time-effective when it comes to studying...)
-Is internet access available in the dorms? If so, who provides it, and what are the costs?
-What are the real logistics for phone service?
-Food! Should I cook, buy, have my parents send me relief? What is the best way to handle eats out there? If there is a meal plan, what is the cost?
-Which sundries should I bring, which ones can be bought reasonably, and which ones can I afford to wait to have mailed?
-Speaking of mailing, what is the estimated time for:
--letters?
--small packages (no bigger than a shoebox)?
--med-to-large packages?
and is it feasible to mail things?
-Luggage handling: what is the maximum number of bags that is feasible to transport to Grenada, excluding carry-on bags?
Thank you for your help in this endeavor.
~Chris
PS: Can I send my significant other FedEx, providing I sent her with O2?
