About moving

Hi everyone.. I've been a long-time reader but never posted until just recently. I had a few questions about the terms at St. Vincent... and about the process of moving in general...

I've noticed on this forum that you guys talking about moving around very casually... how do you guys pick up and leave so easily? I'm interested to hear about what you guys do with your stuff in between terms or when you are moving from one accomodation to another. Also, do you come back to Grenada for term 5 and then immediately pick up your belongings and head to St. Vincent? You guys make it sound easy!

Sorry if these are strange questions. I know the same q's come up over and over again on this forum and I've definitely learned a lot from those. These are just obscure issues that I have always wondered about.

how? easy. pack up everything in a suitcase and go.
u can store ur stuff between terms here. you move only if you are moving from off campus to on campus or vice versa, or from one room on campus to another. and of course to st vincent.
during term 4, an amerijet plane to bring all the students belonging to st vincent, of course u pay for the shipping and stuff, but ur stuff will be stored in st vicent while u are on break after term 4. taht way you can just fly to st vincent and not come back to gnd and then to the vinnies.

dont worry...u get use to the moving and stuff. kinda fun..its like an exercise!

yes. what jay and jack and everyone else said.

And, don't forget to store your stuff in airtight waterproof bags, then those in those space bags if you want to cut down on number of boxes...

And, um, if you can't live without it, buy it and bring it from home because you might not be able to find it here.

but to keep this on topic, i have a question about shipping things to vinnies after term 4: do we have to be in vinnies to receive it? or does the school do that and store it for us?

uhmm, only I can see it cause I have super-duper-spidey vet student eyes....

And if there's anything you would DIE if you lost...don't bring it. And make sure when you get here you let your consulate know you're here. If they don't know you're here, they can't come help you if something bad happens.
