Waitlist for August?

Hi everyone,
I'm in the "you're on the waitlist but you're accepted for January" club probably because I applied in mid may. I've been calling Bayshore to get an idea about when I'll find out about August but all they tell me is some semesters people get in and in others they don't. What I'd really like to know is if they have a cut off date where they finally tell people yes or no about August (before classes start that is). I'm assuming the fall class is already full because I've read that the fall class is generally more competitive and cut-throat and less people are likely to give up their spots.

Anyway if anyone is still waiting to hear for August, or has heard anything different from NY I'd love to know what's going on. Thanks

Jan Class Rocks!

forget about the august class. I'm in the same boat as you and probably applied just about the same time you did.

Just enjoy your fall term off and focus your attention on Jan. I hear it's a lot less stressful.

See you!

waitlist for August?

Brasil,
your location is UCLA, are you a student there now? I graduated from UCLA in 2001. God I miss Westwood, I had the time of my life there. I got a ** in Physiological Sciences, what are you majoring in? Well gotta go, maybe I'll see you in January.

hey thats cool - fellow bruin!

I graduated in 1999. Double majored in Physiological Science and History. Now i'm enrolled at CSULA in a masters program in biology. Just gave my oral presentation last week and my defense is planned for next week. I should graduate by August 1st and then i'm off to Brasil . Is the department still focused on neurophysiology?

Westwood is still the same as you can imagine, i'm ready to leave LA after living here for 10+ years.

Wow someone from Santa Barbara

After your interview how long did it take before you found out you were in? I had my interview July 16th for Jan04. I'm anticipating hearing back from SGU around the end of Aug.

kevintodd23, it says your from Santa Barbara. I graduated from UCSB in 98 and my wife and I stayed up here. Hopefully we'll see you on the island in Jan if not sooner. Are you married? You can PM me.

Go Bruins

Whats up kevintodd, I also am a bruin. I graduated in March with a Phy. Sci. degree. I just moved from westwood to San Diego, and I already miss it!! I have to agree that living in Westwood and going to UCLA were the best times of my life (don't really miss the traffic and parking). Hope to see you in Grenada soon.

Kevin

bruins

I was trying to hold back but couldn't after that third bruin showed up. I have to make fun of your football and basketball teams....
Your athletic teams are a disgrace to the PAC 10!

(nothing personal, just some rivalry fun!)

Fight on!

hey that's cool with me...as long as I never forget 1995 when our basketball team won the championship, lead by our twin towers The 'O'Bannon Brothers' That year was my first year at UCLA and I will never forget standing on top of a Fire Truck on Galey avenue screaming and yelling with my fellow bruins!!!! which finally ended with a mini-riot in westwood village.

And I'll never forget the time when our Football team won 7 straight games vs. USC, sorry I meant SUC.

Loved my experience as well!!!! Go Bruins!
