Confusion: when does second term start? Classes.
So, I was under the impression that we start on the 9th of August, but that day is a Holiday (Carnival). What day do we start?

I dont think thats a school holiday; so classes probably start on the 9th as scheduled.

holiday
Monday the 8th should be carnival, so classes start on tues usually. the monday before is emacipation day, which is also a holiday.
