Hi guys,

Did any of of you guys applied for the school's scholarships? And did anyone received scholarships? How competive is the application? I am asking all these because I am in the middle writing an essay for it. Thanks.

there has been a numerous ppl that have applied and gotten the scholarships.
as far as i know, its not that hard.
you can run a search and see all the ones that have gotten one.

i didnt apply for it but from what i know from my friends that did, most of them used the same essay they used for AMCAS

I'm amazed that not everyone at least tries. The school does offer several different scholarships for both med AND vet students, so if you are getting your application in, talk to financial aid and find out what is available and give it a shot. What do you have to lose really? An hour or so of your time? That hour spent could be well worth 10%,25%,30%,50% off tuition.

Well that's my two cents worth on this subject, the scholarships could get you a whole lot more than that...

Good luck and if you get one, don't blow it all on the rum punches.

Never underestimate your scholarship chances. Apply with a good application, and see what happens. Waking up one morning, realizing your debt just decreased by 20%, makes you warm inside.

How and when did you guys find out if you got the scholarship? I applied but I have not heard anything for a while.
