books

For immunology, yes, Stanley's book is crap, but it's exactly what she tests. She even uses the examples from the end of each chapter, only changing the initials. It sounds oversimplistic, but read the text cover to cover using the notes as guidelines for what she wants you to know and an A is pretty easy. She flat-out gives away questions and answers.

when you get here first term the books are here for you. at the end of first term(and at the end of each subsequent term), you will be asked to fill out a form for the books you would like to buy. as far as i know, if you dont fill out the form, you are on your own. it might be a few bucks more, but then you dont have to lug the books down, taking up space and weight.

so, after first term, look on valuemd, find out what books you want, order them from here, and you are good. you might want some outside books or whatever, and for the most part you want to buy those and bring them down with you. the bookstore has a few of the BRS books and whatnot, but it's somewhat unreliable. much easier to just grab them at B&N or whatever and toss em in a suitcase.
