Thread: what to do on summer break?

what should i do on summer break? i just finished first term. my summer has included the following: sleeping, drinking new castle (THE BEST), partying like its 1999, sleeping (sometimes with drunken girls i meet at bars), and partying.

should i be reviewing? and im on the waiting list for housing, and the damn school hasnt even contacted me, after NUMEROUS emails.

i think i had more questions. but thats it for now. i would appreciate stephs input.

Given what you wrote I'd say these things:
1) do not review (if you must dont review too much)
2) try to do something with research attached if you are looking into a major residency especially.
3) get a blood test.

Enjoy your time. THere are not many free summers left.

thanks for the great advice steph. ive actually done research as a grad student. would that help out still? also, i just got a blood test ,and things are A ok! praise da lord!

Steph is right...dont review relax. You could think about volunteering at a hospital or shadowing a doctor.

As far as housing...well keep hastling, when you go back go straight to Dawn and see where you are on the waiting list if you havent been contacted from housing. I got on campus housing off the waiting list I was number 8-10, as a guy. Virtually all the girls on the waiting list got housing on campus.

and im waiting for a single on true blue. i havent heard a DAMN thing from them. im wondering if im pretty much screwed. im gonna call them up first thing tomorrow. bastards need to hook me up man. pooh pooh!

Bro, you need to chill out. I agree with emerson, you need to change your outlook on life if your trying to be a physician. It doesn't sound like you live a healthy lifestyle. I also know how to party my *** off, but you need to be serious when you speak about a career such as medicine.
