Hey guys, quick question. I understand we have to pay for internet/telephone services if we live off campus through the phone company. However, does the school provide those services if you live in the True Blue campus? Or do we still have to go through the phone company? Thanks!

If you live in Superdorm 1 or 2, (as most first termers probably will next term), the study room will have wireless internet access. There is also wireless access in the library, lecture halls, and student center.

If you want DSL in your room, you will have to set that up with the local phone company. They have been promising ethernet for years, but so far, no go.

and even if u do installed a dsl line, you are not gurantee the same room for next term...that means if you get a different room and still want dsl in your own room you will need to pay for the installation all over again.

my opinion ...its not worth it if you live on campus. just go to the lecture halls or library if you need to get online. no need to waste money when there is service provided already.

off campus is a different story...i still say its too expensive for the monthly fee. most ppl spend their whole days on campus anyway...
