I just about fell out my chair yesterday. No, I hadn't been drinking. A fellow med student made a kicking motion toward one of the cats which was meowing next to his table. Of course, he didn't come close and obviously wasn't trying to make contact. But, oh the repercussions. The cute vet girl one table over went through a sudden transformation. (like shining a light or throwing water on a gremlin) I thought that little girl was going pound down on this guy! Gave him a good chewin'. Then went back to chatting with her friends and being normal.

vet students beating up med students...ii would love to see that...that should be one of the events in the next sand blast...

vet student? dont get me started. im EXTREMELY allergic to cats (carry and epi pen) and i shooed one away 1st term whilst sitting at pearls by sliding a plastic chair towards it. thats all i did i swear, i wanted to make a noise just enough to scare it away before it got any closer to me.

mistake.

3 vet students came down on me pretty hard and had no interest in my allergic condition. i didnt bother getting into an argument because it would have been useless at that point. those three ladies just screamed at me hysterically and then had the nerve to start feeding it near my table while giving me the stink eye. 2 of them lit up cigarettes to boot.

a bit extreme behavior i would think.

for the next two terms every vet student knew who i was.

animals 1, people 0

hurricane time a girl was arguing at the airport that she was waiting there with her dogs a lot longer than me and my 4 month old daughter. she proceeded to say that her dogs were more important than a "stupid" baby. i dont know if any of you remember her in the LIAT lineup.

some of this behavior is just unnecessary. i understand relationships people have with animals but must they go so far to hurt their fellow human beings?

speciesism at its worse....

i think the vet students have some repressed anger issues...
