actually since noone is left on the campus...i get to get a room all by myself. kinda sweet! altho SD rooms should be single room to begin with anyway!

oh yea. there wasnt much damage on campus anyway. some broken windows . thats all i can see. i will be able to see more tomo when the sun is out. but the campus is fully functional and all classes and administration will resume normal hours tomo.

well at least you got power and internet.

Since you're in SD1 when you say 'apartment' do you mean your dorm room, or have you taken refuge in SD1 while your actual apartment off campus is battered? Is there a lot of folks who've done that? I wish more people had done the smart thing and taken cover on campus last September.

Of course it didn't help that our non-savvy admn chose death traps as designated shelters! Middle 2 floors of superdorms in my experience are the best choice.

the power is pretty stable since i moved back on campus..but given the few hrs i am here, the power went out twice already, but it was just for a brief moment (few seconds)
and besides i heard the bird chirping this afternoon, a good sign.
i heard from last year that since ivan, those black birds that would come to the student center and steal food were not around for a long while.

yep my apt is the off campus one. right by excel plaza.
i have taken refuge here in SD1. my power and water was out in my off campus apt. kinda sux cuz i have cable tv and the red sox are playing the yankees this weekend..go yanks!
